APPEARANCE:
Gabrielle is a woman of a very petite build, and is slightly shorter that Liechtenstein. She does not like to discuss her weight, thank you very much, although she is on the skinnier end of the spectrum. Being a relative of France, Gabrielle has similar blonde hair and soft blue eyes, her hair often kept out of the way in a braid, with some strands loose. Generally she has a lovely red bow in her hair During the summer, her usually pale skin takes on a soft tan that slowly darkens during the warmer months, although fades again when she spends more time indoors.

Her style is business casual, wardrobe consisting of a lot of pastels during the summer and darker colours during the winter. To fit with her serious wardrobe, she often wears a pair of glasses rather than contacts.

LIKES:

  • Music:

There is nothing Gabrielle loves more than music, especially that from local musicians. Being a passionate dancer, she will often, out of public view, dance along with whatever is playing. When there are others present, she will only dance in appropriate settings.

  • Ballet:

Whether it be watching or performing, Gabrielle has always been a great lover of the dance. Every morning she can be found in her dance studio rehearsing, never wanting to lose the skills it had taken many years to develop.

  • Gambling:

As much as she tries to keep a professional exterior, Gabrielle cannot help occasionally dabbling in a bit of ‘harmless’ fun at one of her local casinos. Occasionally, when one of her nation guests arrive, she will offer a game of poker.

  • The Beach:

Living in a country bordering on the Mediterranean Ocean, it is almost impossible to avoid the seaside. Raised in Monte Carlo, Gabrielle has always known the seaside, taught to swim at an early age. During the summer months, she can often be found by the seaside or at a pool.

  • Fashion:

Always being conscious of what she wears, Gabrielle generally prefers to wear professional looking clothes, well-tailored to her figure. During the summer, she leans more towards pastels and lighter coloured clothing, and during the winter and for when travelling to colder countries; she has a collection of thick and warm coats.

  • Art

While not an artist herself, she is able to enjoy the beauty of masterpieces. Often when travelling overseas to visit other nations, she will make a point of looking around the local museums out of interest.

  • Shopping

After Princess Grace established shops in Monte Carlo and Monaco-Ville where local artisans can sell their wares, Gabrielle’s interest in shopping grew. It is not always clothing she shops for, collecting pieces of bric-a-brac and other wares to display around her home, or to give as gifts to those she is close to.

  • Sailing

Monégasques have a love for water sports, and Gabrielle is no exception. During the summer, she loves to take a boat out onto the water, or occasionally will take one of the boat tours intended for guests.

  • Tennis

During her days off, Gabrielle will occasionally play a game of tennis to keep her fitness level up. When guests arrive, she may take them to the tennis courts as part of a guided tour of her country.

DISLIKES:

  • Spain

As in the canon, Gabrielle was a part of Spain’s household during the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. During this time, Spain kept doing her unwanted favors, their relationship slowly turning sour. While their relationship has improved slightly since then, they are not overly close.

  • Condescending people

Being of a small height, she does not take overly kindly to that being highlighted. Pats to the head are likely to rile her up, or at the very least make her annoyed.

  • It’s Monégasque not Monocoan

When people mistakenly call her Monocoan, or something similar, Gabrielle will be quick to correct them.

  • Bad manners

If there is one thing that annoys Gabrielle more, it is bad manners. Do not approach her with bad manners, as it is sure to make her quite annoyed.
